Another day, another blog.

Here is just a quick introduction to our blog and ourselves, the people who will be posting in it.

Chompy is 21 and lives in Australia. Having gained a fashion diploma in March, she’s been taking this year off to travel a tad, make clothes and job-hunt herself to death, to very modest success. Chompy’s plans for the future are to make it all up as she goes along, but if a full-time job doesn’t materialise anytime soon, she plans to re-apply for an advanced fashion diploma next year. Chompy is not normally a fan of referring to herself in third person, but has become used to it, partly due to a not-so-recent phenomenon that may or may not be known as Facebook.

Oddsocks is soon to be 25 and works for a department store in the United Kingdom. As his name might suggest, Oddsocks likes to wear odd socks. He also enjoys travelling and has 3 trips to Australia under his belt, along with a recent trek around England and a visit to Scandinavia earlier this year with Chompy, and their good friend Margie. Oddsocks’ plan for the future is to save up enough money and then piss off to Australia for a couple of years, all while single-handedly taking over the world (of Warcraft). If he likes living there, he might even stay longer.

What can you expect to read about? Well, we can’t really answer that at this stage, because there isn’t an answer to give. Seinfeld was supposedly a show about nothing, and in a way, so is this blog. Who wants to put themselves in a box right from the word go? It’s just us, two very different and yet quite similar people, rambling on about the places we live in, the stuff we’ve seen, and the things we like.
